Why the seperate email account?
I’ve had a couple of folks ask why I was using a seperate email account for the trip, so I thought I’d answer here. For those who haven’t noticed, I’m using eurotrip@p..r..com rather than my usual philip@p..r..com.
There were two real reasons:
- I need to be able to login from public terminals here and I didn’t want to have to change my password on the main account.
- This way if the account gets hacked due to someone stealing my password, I don’t loose anything. (Everything is being copied and forwarded from my standard account. So worse comes to worse, I still have a copy.)
